SAGADA: Pangabuan River

The name of this river really gives me headache. I can't remember kasi if it is pangal-an pangal-ab hehehe. Even though the name of this river is hard to remember but once you see it, it will go all along down on your brain cells and will remain there forever.

Sagada Bonfire

It was in our plan to join the bonfire in Sagada but unfortunately all tickets was sold out. I thought there's no way for us to be in that event but thanks to ishie and some of our good fellows there in Sagada we made it. Actually nag gate crash kami hehhe but it's legal. We were with kuya jeff ishie's friend tinulungan nya kami para makapuslit sa loob hehehe.
At first I thought it would be just an ordinary bonfire but i was wrong...
They had cultural dance in which chosen dancers or whatever u call them... they dance wearing only bahag (actually that's the most exciting part of the bonfire hehehe oopppsss i'm being naughty)
I actually don't know the reason why they held such event every year but what I've heard through the grapevine it is some sort of tradition there. The event was being serenade with traditional music and cultural dance and of course the food and drinks. The entrance cost 250 per head, reservation can be settled at the saggas office. they also have mini bar which sells liquors like red horse and beer... (akala ko bugnay wine, rice wine ang makikita ko dun heheheh)

parang pang twilight ang setting ng place hehehe

ang daming mr. right may mr. left pa... san ka pa

Mt. Ampacao

test your strength and mind
tiring but worth it!
nasubok talaga ang endurance ko dito
and my ability to withstand hardship
and to sustain a prolonged walkathon
that moment
I was really at the verge of giving up
pero nangibabaw sakin ung nachachallenge ako
i don't want to go home without reaching the top of mt. ampacao
i keep on telling myself "nagawa nga ng mga nauna sakin who am I to give up?"
napagod, nadulas, kinabahan, natakot but I survived
i reached the top
at bumungad sakin ang isang kahanga hangang landscape ng Diyos.
for me yun ang pinaka magandang form of art na di magagawa ninoman
no words could explain how much happiness and fulfillment
i fl. Feeling ko marami akong na overcome at kaya pang ma overcome.
Life is really a daring adventure..
so we must challenge ourself
to go through and overcome all the
obstacles that comes our way..
BE TOUGH AND BE POSITIVE!!

Although were all tired and too exhausted but after reaching the top.... grabeh! it's all worth it. Thanks to our funny and very accommodating guide kuya aapzz (sorry i don't know the spelling).
I think this trek was so far the best trek i ever had. It really test my strength and endurance up to where my body can go far.
